We found out yesterday that we made the short list for the BFGoodrich pitch.

Quick explanation: Company asks for proposals, hundreds of agencies "apply" the company picks 10 or so to have pitch for the business. After all of the pitches they narrow it down to the "short list" we made it along with two other agencies.

BFGoodrich LOVED the fact that we reached out to clubs at a grassroots level. (I planned some stuff for them in LA and Phoenix too) I guess they got multiple comments from the company about how smart it was of us to hang out with people they want to advertise too.

Anyways. Things went well! And many many many thanks goes to you guys. More to come later.

    Cheers
    Chris

HAHAHA! Yeah, the amp for the stereo was back-ordered and it finally came in.

Hopefully, after this I won't be seeing you or Jamie for a long time.

Although, do you get any cash if you refer a sale? My GF is looking for a car in the next few months, Morries always seems to have a great selection. Not going to lie though, the prices are a tad higher than other dealerships.

Is the MNSubaru Club discount only good at the Morries Subaru or can I use it at Saab too? I really want the Thule roof rack. ;)

Yeah in the next 6 months or so. Her requirements, AUTOMATIC, $14k or less, less then 60k miles, less than 5 years old. I want her to get a Subie but they tend to hold their value pretty well so most models in that price range are too old (for her) or have a ton of miles.

I mentioned the legacy sedans (02-04), she said "it looks like a Saturn." I said, "Ok, but it has AWD and is likely much more reliable." Her, "Yeah but if I wanted something that looked like a Saturn, I would just buy a Saturn."

My guess is she will end up in a Hyundai Elentra GT or a Mazda 3.

She drives me crazy when it comes to car stuff.

^ lol nice small print chux.

its interesting that she says the Legacy sedans look like saturns, i never would have gathered that. it will be tough to find a suby for 14k that has under 60k miles. it is possible, but you will have to start looking now lol.
