One of these things is not like the others, One of these things just doesn't belong, Can you tell which thing is not like the others? lol Tina's silver 383 stroker Shawn's supercharged 6cyl Both running 100 shot nitrous. There are a few other v/8's in the group also. Tom's black NorthStar Caddy v/8 Just thought I'd share. They are all from the MNFiero club. Was a great time, prizes, plenty of food and pop and another great group of guys, just like this club.
wow......that purple one is insanely hot. that shot makes it look a bit like a Z32......you know, except with the lack of the engine in the front.
Educate me a little here, I would assume the Fiero wasn't the only mid-engine car GM made or was it? Entertaining to see what people do with their cars. Pride!
Hey good to see another Fiero lover on here! I am a part of the Fiero club but I couldn't make it to the BBQ as I was camping last weekend instead... I currently have an '86 Fiero GT that I'm swapping a 3.4 DOHC V6 into. I'm really good friends with all those guys, and like you said they are a fun group to hang out with. I take it you used to own one (or a few most likely)? Are you planning to make it to the Mall of America meet in a couple weeks? And yes, the Fiero was the only mid-engine car that any of the major domestic car makers ever made in production (until the Ford GT).
you are wrong about the only mid engine... whatever. tom, xt is looking good man, i still think we need another SVX meet at hooters
Yup If you do some searching for my name on the forum you will find my fiero build. I bought an Archie v/8 kit and built a 350 with a 50 shot nitrous when I was in the group. I'm pretty good friends with Tim. To bad he sold the NorthStar. It was a blast to drive but I could not get a transmission to last more then 3 months. Was running an auto. Here are a few pictures of it.
A snorkle would look really nice for this setup. That must be a monster to drive. And with those tires no one would ever know its got a V8 under the hood.
well Yeah it was a blast to drive and I learned alot with it. First most, never sell a car off when your pissed at it because you tend to take a good loss. Now you know why the Subarus have been sitting in the barn for the past year. Better off walking away for awhile and letting them sit. Man I lost alot of money on that car.
I hear ya... My DOHC swap has actually turned into an entire frame swap. Turned out my old frame was tweaked pretty good and had some rust issues, so I bought a frame from Darrel Morse that is rust free and straight. So now I'm swapping everything over to the new frame (suspension, brakes, interior, body panels, engine, etc). This project has become overwhelming, and I almost sold it a couple times (it was actually up on craigslist at one point). I do still have it, it's just hard to find the motivation to finish it these days... especially after I bought my WRX. Oh and nice Fiero you built! Sorry you ended up getting rid of it though
