I am now residing in Oregon. But still work in MN spring and fall. Just throwing the offer out for anyone who may need something from this side of the country, I could possibly bring it to MN, depending on how large it is. I do have a roof rack, but keep in mind I'm driving an 06 WRX sedan. But if needed, and you want to pay, I would rent a truck and trailer to get a whole car back if that's what you want. We don't salt roads out here, so rust isn't an issue like it is there, so body parts are all in good shape, and cars last much much longer then they do there. Vintage (pre 90's) are everywhere out here if that's yer thing. So the offer is there, let me know if there is something you're looking for, I have a friend that works at a wrecking yard, and a friend who's dad owns one. So I do have a few connections.
Speaking of beer, check out what some of our gas stations are now selling. That's right, not only is it a gas station, but also a growler refill station. "Fill the Suby with premium, and the jug with Mirror Pond Pale Ale please!" 64 OZ road cola anyone? Lol
No salt on the roads, mountains, access to snowboard and the beach, beer at the gas station, non-cali house prices.... i need to move. That picture is awesome!
And snowboarding is amazing. I won't even ride in MN after growing up 30 minutes from Mt. Bachelor. Edit fail. Ended up qouting myself. Lol
HA! Yes, those are proprietary species of hops grown mostly in your neck of the woods. Sorry I turned your parts thread into a beer thread.
Although I agree about the conditions... the through process that you can't have fun on a small hill is laughable. I ride the same hill 2 - 4 days a week during the season and I manage to have a blast every time i go out. It is all what you make it. Yes I would rather be in the mountains, but what is the point of dreading what you don't have when you can still kick it with friends and ride what you do have access too. (I guess the whole free riding and/or getting paid to ride also helps )
If I could ride park, I'd have a different outlook. I'm more of a back country/ powder rider myself. When it comes to rails, and man made jumps, with packed snow, I've got too many concussions, and have given up on park riding.
All good! Hops is parts too! More important than car parts in my mind. I can live without a car. It'd be rough, but after a few beers, I'd forget about it, and I'd be hoppy again! (See what I did there? Punny huh? Lol) Where would one look to find this specimen?
Just flew to Seattle and drove back in a new (to me) 1996 legacy wagon. I can attest to the rust free nature.
