EDIT: Here is the new rig! Well the time has come to move on. Last night I did one of the hardest things I've ever done, handed over the keys to my baby. It was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be and I had to remind myself a couple of times "it's just a car, it's just a car". From what I can tell, the new owner seems like a stand up guy who will take good care of her. [I'll let him present himself if he chooses to] Also, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone on here who has helped me in one way or another. Lastly, an ode to my girl: Next stop. . . diesel p.s. anyone want to buy some Gram Lights?
very very clean....I love how the wing had Sti.....did I read diesel? because i pretty sure it said.....torque!!!!
bummer... I am hoping to do the same sometime int he future.. same words I said to my wife.. its just a car... I want more things in my life that involves stuff with my kids rather then a car and associated forums... Mine will hopefully make way for a nice 4wd and some dirt bikes... but I will surely miss her... heck I still miss my Datsun 120y from when I was 16... ha ha But remember... you had a chance to own a real nice ride and you lost her by choice not by crashing or theft
Thats too bad. I experienced that situation last month when I sold my MSP after 6 years. When the guy actually said aloud that he wanted to buy it I choked up a little. Good luck with your next ride. I'm enjoying mine.
A kid I know bought this car. I, too, got to see it the other night. So clean. You picked a good person to sell it to.
Dude the new buyer better take care of that thing! I know if I bought it I would have changed the oil the next day, let it sleep in a heated garage EVERY night, wash and dry it whenever it needs it, drive defensively etc... On a funnier note, I drove it to the grocery store last night. I parked by a light post a ways away from everyone else so no one would park next to me. I came out to find an identical STi parked right next to me lol, if i knew how to attach a photo to this I would. Dumb noob right?
absolutely amazing car, I hope its new owner will treat it well BTW, how many sets of rims did you have for it?
Thanks all for the kind words. 2 tons! hah, I am worried 3/4 ton won't fit in my garage! Will do, sometime next week probably Thanks, yes I think she is in good hands now. Just two, I painted the stockers last summer and those went with the car. Now I just gotta sell the grams.
Gram Lights are wheels. Check out my fs thread: http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35845 As promised, a pic of the new rig:
