Well after my last accident I have lost my wheels and tires. I am wanting to get a whole new set up once again but since I am going to DePaul next year in chicago I think it would be stupid to make my car stand out anymore than it already does with the carbon fiber. So since that is my situation I am lookin for any suggestions that you all might have on some performance tires that will fit my stockers. I dont want anything extremely hi-performance but someting thats gonna still gonna give me better grip than them POS stock tires

I already got winters for my stocks so I am set there. It would be purely a summer tire meant for spirited driving and maybe a little tracking if I get around to getting a helmet

i like my eagle f1's. They are nice summer tires, and they worked well at the track today. As for a helmet...i picked one up from fleet farm for $35 and meets standards.

+1. The F1's are nice too, but alot more expensive. I've also had the Yoko ES100's, which are good, but they were a little too trammy for me.

I'm running Yoko AVS S2 all-seasons now. Dry grip is good, gravel grip isn't what I wanted (my old oddball Yokos were better in the dirt), but wet grip on them is crazy. Plus they're z-rated and have pretty decent treadwear.

Alright...I aint looking to spend an insane amount and I have read other good reviews about the azenis. Next question now is where could I go locally to pick the tires up and have them installed onto my car?

+1 :) If they don't have them in stock, they can order them. But tell them you don't need them right away, and that you don't want to pay extra shipping costs.

    Discount Tire locator:

    http://dt.know-where.com/DiscountTire/

I've been to the one north of Minnetonka, over near Brooklyn Park, and East of Fridley, and been satisfied with all of them.
