That's the question. I'm making dinner for my mom and girlfriend at my mom's house. My mom is recently divorced, so I figured this would be a good way to show her how much I appreciate her etc etc blah blah and so on. The girl is cool with it too. I got shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. Main course is beef tenderloin, Alaskian king crab legs, steamed broccoli and baby red potatos. For dessert, creme brule. I got the mom flowers and I made the girl a cheesy love note with candy hearts in place of some words and phrases of the letter! She'll love it and later, so will I! After dinner, the girl and I are going to a movie that she wants to see. Probably a chick flick...great. What do you guys have planned?

Sams club deals for the win!! $13.88/lb crab legs and $5.88/lb tenderloin. Doesn't get too much better then that.
I will be cooking also. Oysters, sushi rolls, then some type of fish/veg/starch/sauce plate for the main course.
Not only do you get in trouble, but you don't get anything if they don't get anything. Makes sense to just man up and do it!

Wow you really are giving up have a GF for awhile aren't you? Get your car the way you want it then get another, women are like cars they both cost money you just need to have priorities. As for me I'm off to buy something for her pretty soon, dunno what but sadly it will more than likely be expensive. Then tomorrow we are going to go see "Definitely, Maybe" and possibly go to dinner after I get off work. The good news - she told me she is buying me a gift and taking me to the AMA Supercross this March.
I'm not doin **** for anyone, even if I had a GF this year itd be light. I got burned last year; spent too much on a fancy dinner at kozlaks and presents and broke up a week later. I guess it paid off in the short term (that evening ). Going to canterbury with some buddies and hopefully giving myself a present by kicking ass and winning monies.
