What are your mods on a stock WRX tranny?

    Well i'm curious of what mods do you guys have on a stock wrx tranny? what are your shift points? any problems? If you guys have advise or past experience let me know..Thanks

    sti shortblock, aps fmic, vf30 turbo..with all supporting mods.

    burn your clutch and your tranny shall live.

    the only time i ever shifted after 6k was when we were doing logs on the highway.

    If I'm pushing my car's Limit 7.5k I usually do it once-twice a month on the Hwy

    Dam man checking out your mods...That ****s sick son...nicley DONE and thats on a stock tranny? Man I was shifting at 7.2 every time...i'm pretty sure thats what did my tranny in.

    I ran a VF34 w/ frontmount and 680cc injectors on the stock tranny with absolutely no problems. Soon I'll be running a built 22T with cams and headwork and a 35R on the stock tranny.

    Thanks, as Redymix mentioned...With a VF34 setup u should be fine on a stock tranny...7.2k everytime!?! Holy Cow...I felt guilty even com'in close to that...haha...Yup that should do it.

    Next victim i'd say will be Jason, but he doesn't care cuz he is getting a new gear set anyways...

    I'm interested to see how long my tranny holds up to the new setup. That is, if I can get my new setup finished...
