    not a fan of graphics/vinyl.

I say if you're hell bent on graphics, do it right (custom paintwork) or don't do it at all. Otherwise it just looks cheese/rice.

    just sayin'

I think vinyl can look nice if done right. It's not my style cause of the attention though. I agree with darker gray. Silver matches most any color. It depends upon how much contrast you are looking for. Silver and yellow or silver and blue or silver and black all have 3 completely different looks due to the contrast.

My personal favorite is a real subtle look such as a dark silver with lighter silver graphics that's more metalic so you don't see much until you get up close.

Normally I'd agree but at my old job a guy had a huge dragon put on both sides of his rx8 and it looked GOOD. It was so much better than the crap I saw in F&F, or as I call it, "The Slow and the Bad Acting".

a dark grey would be nice. it all depends on what shade of silver it is. i like stuff sublte. although cherry blossom red is always an option

I know what you mean. I've seen it done well too, but that is defiantely the exception, not the rule.

Gunmetal would be a good choice, especially if your wheels are also gunmetal.

Silver wheels on a silver car look like crap if the silvers don't match-- see factory-original MY00-01 2.5RS's; the silver paint has a yellowish tint and the wheels don't.

If "subtle" isn't your thing, pick any color that tickles your fancy and make the graphics and wheels both be that color. Blue on silver is always nice, but forest green, atomic green, red, or even pink, would all work.

<-- I've got nothin' against vinyls or custom-colored wheels, obviously.

not really on the car itself, but I think personally the balck and silver scheme works ok... if you are doing it on the paint itself go dark grey or black...
