I thought it might be fun to have a thread where people can post what they've used their Subaru for - there is a similar thread on saab92x.com that's popular. I'll start things off with my car today, loaded up for windsurfing on Lake Calhoun:
Ha well timed, I carried a bike on top of the legacy for the first time tonight! I only took a snap chat so no real pics this time.
Typically I have my rear seats folded down and I drag around my 20.75" bike. I'll have to take a picture I suppose
During the winter months, I always have my shelter, auger and ice fishing gear in my WRX. Subarus are made for MN winters!
I will be hauling about 2000lbs of landscaping block tomorrow with my WRX. I'll be sure to take pictures. This summer so far I've hauled rider mowers, and nearly a ton of lumber with my WRX wagon
I have a sedan and the kayak racks make an awesome 2x4 transportation system. I've hauled 16 ft. gutter sections and 2x4's.. people have to just laugh when I drive by.
Carried the Bannister from my parent's fireplace on the roof rack. Gonna refinish it and then truck it on back! Thank god for ropes and Subaru's! I can't find any photos but I've also carried two 5 Horsepower AC Motors with 40:1 Gear Reducers attached, 400 feet of electrical cable, 300 feet of DMX ethernet control cable, 300 feet of Emergency Stop control cable and a few boxes of "Random Metal ****" from one scene shop to another. My wheels were literally 1/2" from scraping the bottom of the wheel wells.
Wait a minute.... Yakima bike racks and roof baskets are for hauling stuff??? I thought they were a sweet accessory that made my stanced car look awesome bro...
I actually moved out of college with just my 92x back in the day....I miss those days when I could fit all of my belongings into one wagon!
