The thing you'd need if you were to swap in turbo manifold is the turbo crossmember. There's a little spot for the uppipe to go through on the turbo crossmembers.

Your engine has a 9.5:1 compression ratio, which is pretty nice. The thing that'll make it hold is tuning. J&S Safeguard, timing control, air/fuel controller.... now these are all piggy backs, you can get a standalone as well but this means tuning from the bottem.

How much power are you looking at?

I'm going to say what everone on nasioc says. mostly because they're right.

It is cheaper and more effective to engine swap than to turbo an NA subaru.

And you already have the old platform that had the turbo option so a swap is a bit easier in your case. You should be buying Paul's Legacy turbo and pulling everything you can from that.

if it is your daily driving vehicle...dont turbo it...unless you have a really good reason too..like me...i might sell mines...or turbo it for now until i get a swap...thats all..turbocharging a N/A is a lot of work..and doing the feed and return isn't all easy too..tuning it will cost more than anything too...
