What do you hate about other drivers?

Although I do it sometimes, I hate it when people cut in and out of traffic.

 

Slow left lane drivers who won't move over.

I go out of my way to stay out of the way of faster traffic in the left lane and it drives me nuts when some self righteous jerk is cruising along in the left lane and won't do the curteous thing and move over.

 

i dont like trucks in the left lane

im just glad i dont live in florida.. the drivers there are the worst

 

i hate my ex girlfriend and her road rage. she just got her license not too long ago, but GOD does she have horrible road rage... now that i think about it, GOD does she have horrible life rage! always raging!

that and those gh3y street racers who slam on their gas right before i get into my car to show off... then when i get in my ride and start her up, they're no where to be seen, trying to do their mazda impression... zoom zoom!

and guys who try to look cool as they creep up on me... they have a straight face, looking only in front of the road while trying to intimidate me... HAHAHA th3y ar3 th3 l0s3! so many damn civics are like that...

 

1. left lane drivers
2. the approximately 2.3 million people in this metro area that do not understand how to merge into traffic at highway speeds
3. people who tailgate you hoping it will somehow miraculously make the 30 people in front of you go faster
4. drivers making lane changes and neither signaling nor checking their blind spot

A general observation. A majority of people (in this state especially) only think of themselves while driving.
Example, Bowser comes up on Mario in the right lane, he'll move over and pass Mario, regardless of the fact that Toad going much faster and is about to pass them both. Heaven forbid you let of the gas for .02 seconds and let the faster car go by first before moving your slow pile into the left lane.

 

Number 2 gets me the worst :evil:

 

I hate the guys that tailgate two feet from my back bumper when there's all sorts of traffic ahead of me. What's worse is during the night when they have their brights on

 

I hate the slow freeway mergers. Hesitant drivers in general make me want to rage when I'm driving...I feel these people are too defensive in their driving and that makes them a large threat especially to the morons that drive around on their cell 24-7 and pay no attention to the road or who is around them. If you are afraid of merging on the freeway or of driving the posted limit on the freeway then you shouldn't be driving. Senior citizens behind the wheel scare the hell out of me also, especially the ones with large vehicles(caddies).

 

the people who drive extremely slow. all those coments about being tailgated when your behind like 80 cars. while its that lead car who is going 10 under and theres like 30 mile sof open highway infront of him.

the second worse is people mergine into traffic from on/off ramps. i have seen countless people STOPPED at the top/bottom of the clover leaf ftrying to get in. sorry ppls your tarus can accelerate that fast!

 

Minnesota drivers, if you drive anywhere else in the states, everyone drives so much fast4r.

 

The toe-fu farting grannys thats can't even see over there stearing wheel to drive straight let alone have the ability to turn there head and check there blind spot when merging from a stop on a clover leaf.

People who drive for miles next the center medin wall with there left blinker on.

 

I was going to say that!!! I hate driving through the cities or anywhere around there. And my friend said that Minnesota is the best state to drive through, what a moron :roll:

I've found I actually research the traffic I drive in without knowing it. Several things about driver I could certainly do without:

- The ricer flyby and the flashers. I still don't understand the flashers :roll:

- People who pull out in front of you and then don't speed up, especially when there's absolutely nobody behind you. This also carries over to people who just roll through stop signs to do the same.

- People who are either too ignorant or feel they're too good to signal.

- Drivers who always think that they're fast enough to go into that other lane next to you at the light which merges into your lane right after the light. Or perhaps I like that since it gives me an excuse to stretch out the car. I only ever move into those lanes if I've been following slow traffic and know I'll just be following it for a lot longer.

- The above also carries into someone who pulls up to the light next to you only to speed well past the limit to get in front of you to merge over and make you slam on the brakes because they're turning left through traffic. I swear, some people get off on causing traffic blockups.

- Those who go less than the speed limit on highways or places where the limit is 50+ or so but then speed through 35mph zones like it's nothing. If you're going to speed you may as well do it at all speeds, no? Even worse is the other way around: going, say, 40 in a 35 and then when it turns to 55 they only speed up to 45 or something. I think this just falls into people who are ignorant.

- People who go slower than the speed limit and when you finally get a chance to pass them they speed up and make your passing that much more dangerous and/or then follow you at whatever speed is faster than what they were going when you were forced to pass them.

- Drivers who use the shoulder as a passing lane. My friend's sister was killed when someone did that and couldn't see she was biking on the shoulder. How f-ing hard is it to use your brakes, seriously :evil:

 

tailgaters! slow drivers on left lane! people that honk at me when im like stuck and cant' go no where! BUT #1 one most hated is people who drive black L wagons that think they can out run cops, endangering the neighborhood and attempt 2 fast 2 furious merges and hit the car in progress..... =P

 

I have to add...cell phones. I am just as guilty as the next guy of using a cell phone while driving but I put it away if I am in traffic or at highway speed.

I absolutely hate the dumb blonde chattering away with her girlfriend completely oblivious that she is slowly driving into another lane. Or the arrogant suit who is trying to do business with a cell in his ear and both hands waving around like he's trying to fly.

My pet peeves revolve around arrogance and ignorance. That includes things like people driving slowly or cutting into the left lane becaue they feel it's their right to force you to obey the speed limit. The guy who cuts across 3 lanes of traffic in his BMW and doesn't bother to signal becaue he's so obviously important.

 

People who make right hand turns from the left hand lane.
People who put their turn signals on move to the right, then decide not to turn and just weave back into traffic.
People who pull out in front and cut you off when you are obviously speeding, then drive well under the speed limit when there is NOBODY BEHIND YOU. They just can't wait a second and drive slow behind me.
All people in minivans.
People who use the brake on corners.
People who take over a minute to hit the gas pedal when the light turns green.
People who drive the same speed as the car next to them on the freeway (block traffic)
People who piggy back on 4 way stops
People who don't take their turn on 4 way stops and go when the guy in front of them goes straight.

4.ppl who gets on the shoulder of you ona red light thinking there fast enough to pass you....lots of other things too

whether it be the lack of turn signal use, or the people that stop at the bottom of an on-ramp, or just plain not paying attention....ignorance

HAHAHA! this one gets me every year! how freaking minnesotans who's been living here all their lives totally forget how to drive each and every single year when an inch of snow falls unto the ground! OMFG!!!!!!!! and turbo'd versions of non turbo cars talking smack, "but in the end, it doesn't even matterrrrr........"

Something I see a lot of in Wisconsin is people who are plodding along in the right lane who jump into the left lane as I come up behind them IN the left lane.

And it isn't because they are passing people. I mean, I jump into the right lane and pass them and have open rode for miles.

I think they're just dumb!

 

i'm talking about those naturally aspirated engines that plug in a turbo and think that they're immediately WAY faster than a stock evo/sti... so many civics and integras out there like that. and when i said in the end, it's because they're still civics and integras... so it doesn't even matter, linkin park style!
