Stoptech Stage 2 Brake Kit Bilstein PSS 9 Coilovers TurboXS UTEC Helix Upipe/Downpipe Should I do anything different? Thanks Evan
Whats Better A UTEC from TurboXS or a reflash from Vishnu? Or is there something even better to get. Thanks, Evan
It's not accurate to say that one is better than the other. They are both great products but appeal to people with different strategies. UTEC: * if you want to do tuning yourself * if you want to have multiple maps for different gas/situations * if your mods will change over time, requiring changes in your tune * really requires the user to be familiar with how to use it * NOT a set-and-forget solution ECUtek reflash: * if your mods will not change * might leave a TINY amount of power on the table for the sake of safety * if you are happy to have a stable tune that you can't change * set-and-forget Read in NASIOC Engine Management & Tuning forum, this topic has been covered HUNDREDS of times.
looks like my list, brakes are on the way, uppipe was ordered today, utec will be ordered probably tomorrow if i have time, downpipe has been in for over a year. as for suspension, i'm gonna get KYB AGX struts and Prodrive springs, prob in the early summer. BTW, i emailed stoptech to order different pads instead of the pads that are included, i'm getting EBC red pads instead.

I would like to know how you like it. What kind of uppipe and downpipe are you getting?
BE WARNED: Is this your daily driven car? If it is, you will more than likely learn to HATE driving on coilovers. A good spring and strut combo will definately do the job and an STi strut set can be had for a decent price used. Or the KYB AGX offering is nice also. I am only warning you because I don't want you to hate your car.
i've had the Downpipe on for a year now, its an Invidia SS peice, it was beautiful, didn't even want to put it in my car it looked so good. But with only the downpipe i ran a 13.9 1/4 mile so it definetely gave some power people can feel. Also the turbo is so much louder. I'll let ya know when i get the upipe (helix flex uppipe) and brakes, if you wanna come over and watch the installs you're more than welcome. Utec won't be much to watch for an install, probably 20 minutes
Hey, talk to Brett at morries. He has a txs stealthback that his is selling. I looked at it friday, and it is in good condition (already catless}). I think he wanted $500, but not 100% sure. The txs system uses a 4" downpipe to a 3" midpipe. Russ

And is that a good downpipe and midpipe. Has anyone every got a ticket for not having any cats in there exhaust. Thanks
Everything but the muffler section. As for cats, I have had one on any car I have owned since we had emmisions. Russ
It should work with the muffler section. The txs system uses its own pipes, so you can only bolt on the mufflers. If your hush muffler bolts up to the stock piping, it will bolt onto the txs pipes. Russ
