Maybe $20k-25k. Just a guess because it really varies. It's only been out in the market for 2-3 years and it's a hot product so it won't depreciate as fast as some passenger cars.

Last year I saw 04 sti's going for around 20k depending on milage. You'll be under 20 on most of them in 2 years I'd imagine.

Here's some hope for you. I bought mine with 28K mi for $23.5K. Great price but I knew I'd be replacing some items. So far only issue was clutch and flywheel which wasn't cheap.

2 years from now I'd expect $18-$25K with about 40-80K mi. It'll be a really hard find to get one with out mods or that wasn't modded and then parted out. Just know that whomever owned it 95% likely drove it hard but the car can take it.

driving it hard isn't that much of an issue if the owner properly maintained it as well - which hopefully is the case :)

I'm aware of that... but I'd like to see it without the body cladding as shown on those two shots.

Now back on topic here... in 2 years, a 2004 STi may cost in the range of $18k-$23k depending on mileage and condition of the car. As long as the demand doesn't kill the car like what happen to the Supra/RX7 market. The slow and the get serious really killed the market for these cars.

Just look at the Toyota AE86 (83-87 Corolla GT-S) 5th Generation Corolla. Initial D caused the price of that car to skyrocket as well.

Hmmm... marketing tools... maybe what we need is a movie about a kid wanting to be a Rally racer and at the end, picked the Subie as the car of choice to win the Rally. Now that'll jack our car up fosho ROFL.

That hideous thing makes the Lancer EVO prototype in the background look even cooler.

I hope the GC8 supply doesn't run out before somebody finally designs a better-looking car.
