Mark, You wildman, isn't that turn 3! That was awsome, do you think I can use this at one of the BMW Car Control Clinic sometime? LOL Maybe I better not. Thanks for sharing. I would of loved to come out and volunteer again this year but had to work. C
That is turn three. Turns four five six and ten are equally safe to do this sort of stuff. For obvious reasons turns one two and nine are no-drift zones. Seven-eight are very dicey with some big problems if you are not spot on.
****, I was going to go and watch, but I couldn't remember what day it was (sat or sun). Oh well, looks like you had some fun. Clip 2 is my favorite. Did you get the heart pumpin on that one? Russ
yes, that second one I was like.... uh OH!!! FLIP? NO!!! uhhh.... yes!!!! haha scary though to watch that part happening because it had a chance of flipping... wheww!
Truthfully, I didn't have time to panic. Obviously, I went in too fast for what I was trying to do. Once it was clear I wasn't going to stay on the black stuff, I just concentrated on keeping the car under control. It really was no different than hitting a slippery spot in a corner on a rally. As long as you know it is coming, you can deal with it. However, I was a little busy in the car.
Whee! Thanks for sharing... sorry I couldn't make it for this event, but I'm out of town until the end of June. Maybe I'll make the next one if I don't spend all my money on this trip.
