So, in the pictures below, you can see some sort of goopy haze that has gathered on my headlights in the last month or so, this stuff will not come off no matter what i clean it with, except if i scrub it really hard with a finger, then its maybe a few hours before it comes back, any ideas on how to get rid of this junk? it looks really bad in person.

The 3M kit worked wonders on my stock passenger side after I got a new drivers side. Now you can't even tell. Gonna need a drill and some elbow grease though ;)

i dont have any trees that its parked under, its in a garage at my house downtown, in a driveway with no trees at the parents, and in a garage at the gf's. So i really have no idea what it is.

Yup, the cheaper cars get the cheaper materials they use.

Try PlastX first. Its cheap, like 6 bucks. If that doesn't work, then get the 3m kit.

i got the plastix kit from checker/O'Reilly , was 21 bucks for the polish, the buffer "ball" thing, and a microfiber cloth. Just the bottle of the polish is about 7 bucks. The 3M stuff wasnt there, but i cant imagine it would be much different.

Yup, used a 18v cordless drill, and you really do have to put some muscle into it for it to work really well.
