Just wait til he's old enough to start modifying them. That's when it gets really fun. Haha.

I meant modifying the Power Wheels, so hopefully not that long. Haha.

My boy this past spring on the Milwaukee powered KFX.

The bmw 507 has a remote and 2 motors. Might save a few of my damaged cordless drills for some future mods.

    Are they brass or aluminum?

After having aluminum ones on the brass valve stems on my bicycle, I use only plastic ones on my cars.

Packaging said anodized aluminum. The inside of them is plastic which I figured would avoid the dissimilar metal-on-metal but maybe y'all are telling me this was a terrible idea.

You did mention bikes though. I'm sure there's a strong technical reason why they're used on cars but I much prefer Presta valves to their Schrader counterpart.

I wish i remembered the insanely long documentary that explained why schrader won out. I think it was turn of the century luck and adoption rate more than one being better than the other. There used to be like 15 variants

With a plastic insert you will be OK. Mine were all anodized aluminum.

Assuming this is still a PlayStation exclusive? I made the switch to Xbox after PS2 and all my friends at the time had 360's. Have a One now.

Man I miss the good ol days of GT. I remember my brother borrowing it from one of his friends so that I could play it. My mom had bought us a PlayStation for Christmas but she was a single mom of two idiots and couldn't afford a memory card on top of it. I vividly remember spending almost an entire Saturday playing GT, getting enough licenses to race, and then playing enough to get enough money to buy a Viper GTS-R (my obsession at the time). I'm pretty sure I cried when my mom said I had to shut it off...

I bought a air deflector for my moon roof. But whoever did the quality control failed on one thing. See pics. And on a side note they need to give steel nuts not the nylon nuts.

Apparently I liked this when you posted but don't remember, and I just happened to see it again tonight.

I picked up two "vintage" Haro's recently as I've randomly decided to try to be younger than I am at something else again. One is an '01 Mirra 540 Air, the other a '12 300.1.

Long story long, we took the kid to the skatepark randomly recently and he really took a liking to "hitting" the ramps. I was bored almost immediately as I can't just sit there and watch. So had to fire up the Craigslist machine.

Picked up the Mirra first because that's what I had in high school. I had a '99 that was yellow with red accents. This one is navy blue and black. Super sweet bike but I forgot how heavy it is. Kinda sucks... Haha.

Buddy/fellow dad got his BMX bikes out of storage recently and he let me ride his brother's bike. They're from around the 2010 mark and are significantly lighter than the old Mirra. Crazy how much difference it makes. So I started looking for another...

Picked up the 300.1 last night and already have some "fun" parts ordered. Needs a new seat and I added in some pedals, a top load stem, and some other little things. It's black with gold wheels and stickers, so got some gold parts to go with. Will post some pics when I get it "done".

Lightest bike that I ever owned was a 20” Haro Master. Weighed nothing.

I started watching BMX when Dave Mirra was the guy. Quickly became a fanboy and had to have the bike, even tho I couldn't (and still can't) do squat on it.

I rode freestyle and small ramps. I used to watch Rick tap his back wheel on the 16’ ceilings at his indoor park called Rampage. Would come off the 8’ quarter and wall ride up to the ceiling. He had a ramp against the exterior wall with plywood going up the rest of the way. He also did the smoothest tail whips over the spine on the double half. He was/is a legend(that many have never heard of.)Lol

Pics? That's such a sweet story.

I think I paid $250 for my yellow one back around 2001. Sold it 10 years later for $120. Just bought the blue one for $200 which kinda stung, but there are several on ebay listed for around the $500 mark (not sure if any have sold for that, tho).

Looking at "old" parts on eBay is depressing. People want insane money for stuff.

I do have a Trek mountain bike, in the biggest frame size they make, with 29" wheels and the seat high enough for my legs to be straight when pedaling. It's wild going back and forth between the two styles. The seat height on my mountain bike is 44" from the ground. Haha.

Oh man, now I really need to fix up my bmx bike. I have a chrome Robinson MX extended frame that I bought when I was in 7th grade, so must be a 96 or a 97. I'm so happy that I let the salesman talk me onto buying the extended frame version, otherwise there's no way I could ride it today. Now that I think about it, that thing could be worth some good money!

I finally sold my 1986 Schwinn Predator Qualifier a couple years ago. Vintage BMX doesn't bring in vintage Ferrari money, but I got a good price for it.

How heavy is heavy? The 2001 Haro catalog puts the Mirra 540 Air at 37 pounds. It's ridiculous when compared to my "new" one I just got (which is listed at 26 according to the Haro archive site).

Well I think that the master was like 26lbs? The GT Performer that my buddy had had mags on it. The bike overall felt really heavy. But I don’t have much experience with GT’s other than that. I would compare my neon yellow/green Haro Sport to the GT. It was a lot heavier than the Master was
