I recently switched from Arm and Hammer to Aquafresh Extreme Clean, and damn...that stuff is wicked. Had a nice burn to it. Anybody have any other reccomendations?
Colgate Total Extreme Clean Plus Whitening. Its got an amazingly long name so I figured it had to be good.
wow...2 for Colgate Extreme Clean eh...I might have to pick up a tube this weekend and try it out. Also +1 on the Listerine, that stuff is badass...except its quite expensive. (I'm a college student with a mortgage, yea i know.) Every now and then i might splurge and get a bottle but i usually grab the classic: Scope.
I use a all natural one from whole foods. It has a very natural mint taste and does not have any chemicals at all. Will look up the name later
LOL well i use Tom's all natural toothpaste (cause i recently got a lip piercing) which is SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) free SLS is what causes the foamy substance to form in your mouth and to some people (like me) it can cause a reaction that gives canker sores
You sillies. Plaque is a figment of the liberal media and the dental industry to scare you into buying useless appliances and pastes. Now, I've read the arguments on both sides, and I haven't found any evidence yet to support the need to brush your teeth. Ever.
That's funny. In actuality, I use Aqua Fresh COMPLETE or whatever (you know it's serious with the ALL CAPS) .. it's supposed to strengthen your teefs. I have soft teeth
Well I got rid of my teeth at a young age. Because I'm straight. Teeth are for gay people. That's why fairies come and get 'em.
I has sensitive teef. And I was wrong. I use "Colgate Total Advanced Clean Plus Whitening Paste" Gel is for people who eat like s*** and have bad breath.
One morning a while back I was half asleep with the hugest hangover of my life, I grabbed my dogs Beef flavored Toothpaste on accident. I dont recommend it. My head was in the toilet for 30 minutes after that.
Arm and Hammer. not sure what kind, but its gross. BUT, im told its good for people with bad teeth. And I need to go to the dentist like no other.
Hedley & Wyche. The British toothpaste. You don't have to brush your teeth every week - but you just might want to!
 Must be something like this deodorant...or something like that...I don't know, the stuff those trendy people use. Crest pro health...love the grit!
I had a friend who never brushed his teeth EVER! LOL, his breath never had an odor nor did he have cavities. Kinda wierd. His mom told us. We were kinda disgusted but whatever. I have like 2 years worth of crest in my closest. Don't ask why. So I'll be using Crest for a long long while.
I haven't really settled on a toothpaste that I really like yet (it makes shopping fun ), but I can highly recommend the Vanilla Mint Listerine. That stuff kicks ass.
Lol, I DO bathe... occasionally. I have no idea what toothpaste, soap, shampoo (when I have hair), mouthwash, etc I use. I just grab whatever is closest. Sometimes it's the cheap stuff that I bought years ago, sometimes it's the gf's expensive la-dee-da stuff that I get yelled at for using... All I know is that I use the $.50 barbasol/colgate shave foam and one of those sonic toothbrush deals... them things are kick-ass. grooming/hygiene 101
Wierd thing is, kid actually had really healthy gums and teeth, and yes, he does munch on alot of sweets. :ugh:
Crest Pro-Health + Sonicare I see a dentist about once a decade. No cavities and very little scraping last visit, so I must be doing something right. I've used Crest forever. I used the cheapy Crest Spinbrush for some time, nice and cheap, but the Sonicare of more recent kicks its ass in performance. I just wish it wouldn't turn off every 2 minutes... I have a brother who didn't brush for most of his childhood. He never really got any cavities. I am curious if we're just being stupid with the teeth brushing to some extent. It's good, but it's also unnatural. Really, we do it for longevity. Our ancestors tend to die not from disease but rather the inability to eat. The process of tooth decay and loss generally meant the end of life as the person would simply starve to death. These hygiene acts that we do is in part to extend our existence by preventing some of the common detrimental aspects of age. Still, we do counter natural abilities through artificial means. By brushing, we do decrease our natural ability to self-clean and self-fight germs and decay. We as organisms are reactive in every way and we adapt to fit our environment. The act of brushing will, over generations, affect how our mouth and teeth work.
