i use to use what ever gas was closest / on the way. however i have heard some horror stories about certian types/stations. and have since only used certain ones.

    i use BP.

alhtough i have heard bad things about a local BP station (they gave my dad a tank of water not gas (this is an amusing story in itself)).

i have heard holidays blue earthe uber friendly stuff is not so good to run.

What do you use and why?

I've been running any premium I can find and can't realy say I've ever had a problem. I fill up with the 93 blue earth stuff if I am near a Holiday and haven't had any trouble with it. I have a BP and an Amaco near my house so I grab which ever is on the way.

Back when i was living in MN i used to get BP mostly just cuz it was all over where i lived. Out here in NY i've been using Sunoco. Not sure if they're any good but they have 93 octane which is otherwise hard to come by out here in Albany, NY and i also noticed they have 110 on a seperate pump.....hmmm....might be time for a turbo upgrade

Any 93 I can get my hands on...usually shell in wayzata but sometimes holiday if I am too lazy cause its right next door. Best stuff though I have ever used is shell 110. God that stuff is amazing. It burns incredible. I can feel the power it holds. 92 ethanol free is also a very good gas that I have found. All of these have been at a shell station.

i usually fill up at holiday with the 93 because there is one on my street, otherwise there is a couple around with 92.

    BP 92oct. ALWAYS.
i'll go out of my way to find a BP, and i have yet to put anything else in her.

I've heard quite a few places say it's the best gas.

I don't think you can get around water. Throw some Heat in it every once in a while or some fuel treatment that takes care of water too.

The biggest thing I think is just going to a station that has a good amount of traffic. This guaranties the gas stays fresh and relatively new. Gas comes in daily. I've been going to Kwik Trip lately and just filling up on the mid 89 stuff cause they(most places) sell it at the same price as the 87. The car seems to be a hair happier than with 87, even with a stock NA engine.

I wish I could find some ethonal free stuff now. Any stations specifically sell ethonal free fuel? I think some stations used to sell the 87 as ethonal free, but I'm not sure if any do now.

Makes sense, less heat to burn the fuel. Yes, thers plenty of non-oxy but it's usually 93-94 oct. Most BPs have it.

The only thing that goes in both of my vehicles is citgo 92 non-oxygenated/ethanol free stuff. Turbo cars love it.

I normally use Holiday's premium gas. I've never had a problem with it... and I use it 9/10 times. No matter what though... always always use premium for my baby =)

I usually run 92 non-oxy from the Amaco over by the Home Depot in EP. I seem to get better gas mileage when running it.
