what should i do with my trunk,,?? help

i have the hardest time seeing out the back window cause of the sti wing,,
has anybody switched the wing out with aftermarket and was it direct fit?

and or has anyone put a carbon fiber trunk on it?
pics would help
.. so if anyone has a wr blue wrx that would like to switch trunks hit me up...
iam manily looking for one with out the wing..

Dirftin240 wants to trade. He has a wrx trunk with the wrx wing.

 

As he edited his post (didn't say so originally) he wants a wilngless trunk, it seems like if you want one of those you need to

a. fill the holes in your current lid

b. buy a new lid

Most people that don't have a wing don't want a wing.

How about this for an idea? the traveling exchange lid, I'll buy a wingless lid, have it painted and from there I will loan my lid to anyone who needs a substitute while theirs is in the body shop for a fee of $50.00? Of course they would have to return the loaner lid when theirs is back from body work.

 

I'll trade you my trunk for yours and i'll swap over the locks. As for the springs, I already have STi springs in my trunk...so you can keep yours or I can try and get some WRX ones.

 

yea sorr about the edit i goolged wrb wrx and most dint have the wrx wing so it just sliped my mind,,

if you must go wingless, do so, i prefer the small wing of the wrx. the STi is too gaudy - and ALWAYS was too gaudy.

one of the main reasons why I don't like the STi much

 

I still want it, so don't go getting rid of it on me!
