Rallycross is sooooooo ftw. ^^^ Here is an aerial shot of the Cannon Falls course. It freaking RULES. Nathan, you will build something like this.
I would love too, but the other 35acres of the 40 we buy will still be used by a local farmer.. $$$$ in our pocket
Yeah, you can drive on it. $40 paid to the LOL SCCA for several timed runs. Good times. http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15268
How many people do you think will be willing to do that with their cars? I would but I wonder if other people would. Cheap Subaru paint and all.
after the first duluth trip when i took some clowns into the woods, imma say alot of them would be willing to.
Run a course through the plantings... Would hardly use any of the acerage, and if it's corn, you'd get that reall "can't see the next corner" rally feeling. Might be a bit of colateral damage to crops around the turns though...
The next event will be in Corcoran (near Maple Grove) at the Lion's park. The surface there is really smooth and it's a great place to try the sport out if you're hesitant to run at one of the messier/rougher venues. Just don't come to a rallycross or a rally, or anywhere near dirt with a foam air filter. Actually, I suggest not even starting your engine up with a foam air "filter" on it, as they don't. Filter, that is.
Anybody know any farmers in the area that would be willing to give up some pasture land for a day? You could set up a course real quick and tear it up for a day while the farmer has his cows, or livestock, rotated out of that area. Give the farmer some free lunch and a couple laps in someones car, that should do it. Just an idea.
I would for sure. then agian i drive on lots of gravel and well i dont really worry about rock chips. we need a rally-x course.
If my suspension wasn't so stiff, I'd be all about it. I need another scoob to beat on and put away wet :naughty:
