    Now that's a WHOLE LOTTA BOXER!!! If that is an oil filter or a fuel filter, I can only imagine it makes a mess when changed.

    Most filters that sit like that have an anti drainback valve, my benz has one, and I thought for sure it would have been a total mess to change. Not a drip.

    unless the wife has a crv, total mess every time i pull the filter. leaks all over the place (subframe, drive shaft) I think they even sell an accessory you can mount to help redirect some of the oil. of course a crv is no where near the cost of a benz (car or parts)...

    I like the 02 bugeye's location a million times better you don't even need to crawl under, just reach under. The same basic spot for the 5cyl in the volvo too
