Well my problems with endlinks aren't as severe as 83projectbrat's (broken endlink WTF) but mine do clunk around and I know they need to be replace so what is a good/ hopefully cheaper set of front and rear endlinks? I was going to get them from importimage but I would like to order in the next couple days here

Kartboy endlinks FTMFW. You can get a set of front and rear together new for 180 shipped, or look for used sets. They go quick, but I got my rears for 50 bucks shipped.

I think Whiteline endlinks were the ones to stay away from. Great bars, not so good on the endlinks.

I have kartboys, get something without pillowball with replaceable bushings like kartboy/whiteline.

IIRC the issue with the Whitelines was that they aren't as beefy as the Kartboys, they're a different design much like the Forester (once again, IIRC. I'll have to check the parts catalog) in that they're a single metal wire (if you see one you'll see what I mean) wrapped around both bushings, where as the Kartboys are a single chunk of aluminum. And the rebuildability of the Kartboys is a great asset.

Whiteline has the wussy looking thick wire formed ones, and the Heavy Duty version which are solid aluminum.

That said, I do believe KartBoy's are cheaper.

Yeah, I was just going through their site and I can't find the wire formed ones, but the heavy duty ones are still up. Still, you can't go wrong with the Kartboy links.

Yeah. Kartboy rears are very nice. Adjustable front's are much easier to install.

you gyys are thinking of whiteline endlinks they have not sold in 5 years (which I used to have on my yellow car)

The newer Whiteline heavy duty endlinks are what I run and are very good. They have urethane bushings instead of pillowball joints so they are slightly different than helix, pretty much the same as kartboy.

Best endlinks for performance/money are helix though, better pillowball design, lighter, no clunk. You just have to live with the purpleness of them
    [IMG]

the spacers keep it from clunking and the joint is very nice. I dont think there is much of if any difference between the kartboys and the Whiteline HD's. All whiteline endlinks currently sold are the heavy dutys, the wire looking ones were discontinued.

Ok, so I am lazy... Anyone know of adjustables? I could look, but Zak and Shane do all that anyway.... :p I am having problems with preload on my stockies and I am concerned that a non-adjustable may not relieve the issue... I suspect this is adding to my snap oversteer issue. :(

The Poltec ones look nice - http://poltec.us/products/subaru/suspension/front_end_links/front_suspension.htm

Hotchkis has some, too, but I don't know if you're looking for ones for the RS or the STi - http://www.hotchkis.net/

I had Helix on the front and rear of my car on Helix sway bars and destroyed the front set and got tired of the clunking like crazy on the rears.

Right now I'm running Kartboy on the rear and stockers on the front but I need to get a set of Kartboy's for the front.

Hmmm, that's unfortunate. I'm currently trying to decide between the Helix ones and the Perrin ones since we found out that you don't actually have to stick with poly bushed ones in ST* classes.

Self delusion, then ? That way they come in any colour you want.

Hang on, I thought you were trying to find ways to bump up the weight on your car. You should spray yours with lead paint to further increase the effect.
