Whats going to be the best way to go about selling my transmission

The transmission is out of a 02 wrx. it has apx. 160k on it.

A stick got lodged under the car agenst the shift linkage knocking it out of 3rd gear taking all the teeth off of 3rd.

the rest of the gears are fine and shift in and out of them fine.

As i see it i have 2 options. sell it whole as/is for someone to take and make a ppg out of or part it out and sell the center and front diff as well as the remaining gears and syncros as well as the case.

for best amount of return on the transmission what is in your guys opinion best way to go about this

mods if you feel a better area is better for this 2 be posted in feel free to move it.

no the whole car is not for sale a 6speed is on its way as we speek

 

sti trans? thats a fun conversion if thats what your doing, gotta do the whole drive line from what i thought hubs and everything.

 

U don't have to do the whole drive line just get a automatic wrx drive shaft and a r160 with a 3.9 pinion gear and 05wrx front axles
