What is the best....but at the same time not to pricy?

    Oil?
    Spark plugs?
    coolant?
Other things that i need that is required for a full tune up?

My car is pretty much stock. All i have is a up and down pipe and a apenix exhaust.

Doesn't Castrol make a good synthetic motor oil? Or is the Mobil1 better?

i use valvoline Synpower lubricants. Pretty much the same thing as mobil 1.

I like how the evo 9 oil cap says "Moibil 1 only" on it

wow @ change synthetic oil every 1500 miles

equivalent to lighting fistfuls of dollar bills on fire IMHO, but if you can afford it more power to you!

I read on nasioc that Mobil 1 gets ate up pretty quickly in our subys. Not sure if its true. Sounds kinda like b.s. since engines usually have tight clearance tolerances.

The amount of oil a Subaru engine eats seems to vary depending on how easy or rough you were to break it in. But I think it's safe to say that they typically eat more than other engines. You just gotta keep an eye on it and keep it topped off.

Well, I run amsoil in my car, and I change it every year (about 8000 miles a year), and it comes out almost as clean as it goes in. I am also running a oil cooled only turbo, so that makes things a bit harder on the oil. It doesn't use a drop, and I have beat on the car since day 1. Every fluid in my car is amsoil, and I am running denso plugs. Of course, my car came with denso plugs.

Russ, are you sure your car came equipped with Denso plugs? No subaru that I have ever seen has ever had Denso plugs, espicially a WRX. The only plug that has ever been in WRX's were NGK PFR6G's. Even the STi's have NGK's from factory. I'm not trying to start a fight, but I think your mistaken.

Nope, they are the ik20 plugs. I still have them. I was a first allocation wrx (1 of the first 4 at white bear). I have ALOT of stuff on my car that doesn't really match up to what others have.

I also have 2 cars, so that how I only get away with 8000 a year.
