When is the weather going to warm up? I know every year it starts to get a little bit warmer around March, but than it always snows a **** load. So when do we get to have our little weekend car shows??
I am excited in general....just wait untill I have that new toy I guess that I just enjoy the warmer weather and the limited car scene that we have here.
It's funny, I had my first midway like little street race.....OK I was at driving a Merc 02' CLK430 and I rolled up to a stoplight with a 350z sitting there, he was looking like his car was really fast and I was feeling a little frisky As soon as the light hit green I was off, got about a 1.5 to 2 car lenght lead and stayed that way till about 80, this was on a highway so the speeds wern't too bad. The 350 was for sure a auto or he would have taken me. Let the games begin!
If anyone with an sti is interested in coming i would greatley appreciate it. I dont want to start any pissing matches but i just wanna see how my car is doing now compared to the sti

I rolled by there around 9pm but it was dead almost all across Uni. Saw a silver Evo and SRT-4 at the light next to each other at Snelling but fortunately they didn't try anything stupid.
I went down around 10 30 and ran into that silver evo and srt and then a group of other cars and ended up running some wrx's and what not, it was pretty fun.
ah haha I know who those 'two' are. They are that one Racing Team in the TC here. Goes by something like, "Silver Strike Crew". I took off to OIR @10:30ish. I saw a 04 Silver WRX with Chargespeed front lip and FMIC. I don't know who's that is....
Just to mix things up a little.....I have seen worse accidents at aarrf events than any street racing, and I have seen alot more street racing Disclaimer: this does not mean that steet racing is safer in any way.
Then again the tires screeching warns you of your limits... not safe anywhere you go, there are dangerous drivers out there too.
There aren't children chasing balls into the street , bicyclists, disabled in wheelchairs, or elderly who don't pay attention at the track or OPUS...
I think so. I want to make it. I have had so many things going on the past couple of weekends and this one is going to busyt busy also. I want to make it out and use my wbo2 in my truck just to screww around with some of the logging features and such. Russ

The silver evo and srt you saw was me and my friend mike. I am not sure where fuji heard about this "silver strike" thing. but that is deffitly not our cars.Oh and Rallynavvie I am sure you will see plenty of stupid stunts by all kinds of drivers.

funny how things get spread around....or maybe it was because I made a post of it. Well things were pretty even untill he got the stage 1. Now he's faster.

Yang, bring it! So, I've been seeing a lot (and I mean A LOT) of imports driving around University now. So that must mean that there'll be Fri/Sat night meets as usual, right? The forcast isn't predicting any rain tonight... Those of you who have OBD-2 scan tools, can you bring it so I can use it to clear my CELs? ...for free? :I Maybe you can brag a bit about what else it does, too.
Noah, I know they do, because they have done it for me before. I just don't feel comfortable going to Autozone all the time to have them come out to scan my codes (2 of 'em buggers). Besides, I would like to see how certain scan tools out there differ from one another.
