The year is coming to an end and I'm thinking maybe it's not such a bad idea to go back to summer rubber....anyone else sharing my thoughts? lol

Should have left them on but you know how that works - I'll switch them back to summers and it will dump a foot on us... maybe I should do that so it does :bounce:

I usually wait until middle to end of April. Regardless if there is snow or not.

As much as it pains me to drive on my winters when it's 35-40+ outside I'm planning to stick to the normal schedule... sometime in April. It is MN after all so it's bound to snow eventually. I am wishing I had a nice set of all seasons right now!

i'm picking up new snow tires tomorrow and will get them mounted on Jan. 7th when i pick up the new wheels. So naturally, we'll get dumped on Jan. 6th.

According to Subaru, you should be on snow tires when it is below 37F. Even with the current weather it's usually below that for a good portion of the day. Switching to summers doesn't really make sense until the low temps for the day are in that range.

    Thank you Professor Xavier lol

Well I'm considering hosing my driveway down with water and allowing it to freeze over night just so I could feel better about having my winter tires on, mayby just maybe in Feb when we usually will get some useful snow I can get to experience how the Snow button works on my car. :banghead:

An experienced driver, such as yourself, is going to a let a computer drive his car for him?

Yes, I'm always searching for that Auto Pilot button they sold me on when I purchased the car. That extra 5 min nap goes a long way when you have a +12hr day. :smoke:

My next car must have Parking Assist lmao
