Where can I find a car interior camera mounting?

I'm thinking of how to mount a camera/video camera inside my car. Anybody know is there a camera mount kit where I could buy? or do i have to do custom mounting the tripod?

i chat'd with these guys for awhile at SEMA...the product is amazing. 900 for the complete setup with wiring controller and camera. the camera is about the size of a lipstick container and can take a ton of force...they were showing cars rolling over and the camera was still recording without missing a beat.

 

sweeeet, I need these in our car scenes next year in our film production making. "Hopefully" we are ready by then.

Otherwise I just strap in a tripod like so:

hey, not bad. Might use that back seat tripod idea.

 

^^, thats really cool. I would be a little worried seeing if that thing falls off.

 

^^ Add a safety chain (like on a trailer) in case it falls off. Then you know where it is at all times.
