last night when I was at work, some fcuker backed into my car and left without leaving any information. None of the surrounding buildings have any cameras that focus on Marquette, so I am SOL as far as finding the person responsible. Due to MN no-fault law, and my $500 deductible, it doesn't make sense for me to make the claim if the insurance company is going to pay for only 100-200 of it. So I am left with fixing my own car out of pocket. I will probably do this after winter, unless I pick up some odd jobs doing computer work, but I figured I would do some research now anyways. So where do you guys go to get parts like these, or do I have to go to the dealership parts department and have them order me one? And where would I get paint for it, or would it be cheaper to have a shop paint it for me, and put it on myself? I have an airless sprayer, but I'm not sure about the quality of it since the max spray tip is a .017. My car is the Midnight Black Pearl btw. Man I am pissed. I still need tires and brakes before the snow flies, and now this happens.
