I have a question (pobably very n00b like).

Running a VF-11 and MBC. yesterday i would hit full boost (just under .5 bar) and then prety much as soon as i hit full boost it would drop right back down to 0. whats up with this? is it a MBC thing or does it have to do with the wastegate on the vf-11? is my car just messing with me?

sounds like the wastegate is blowing open under full boost.

tighten the wastegate, but I don't know if the vf11 has an adjustible wastegate arm. Forge might make a wastegate for it, or go external.

Or perhaps the lines between your mbc and your wastegate are incorrect.

sounds like a boost leak, your hose is probably opening up under pressure and closing when you let off

    hmm interesting.

Well i wasnt pushing it yesterday, since i had things to do and didnt want to push my DT fix to the limits. I hit .5 bar maybe three times. each time it would hit full boost then drop off to 0. I could still build boost, just not reaching full boost. maybe .2 or .3 bar. let off the gas and try again it would peak then drop off again.

    I will check my hoses.

it makes sense. I will need to test this theory. probably tommorow, when I have time to fix it, if thats the issue.

FYI: this thing scoots when its at .5bar.

Hoses all seem tight. I am wondering if the BOV is blowing open under full boost. I will need to inspect this next.

checked my hoses. they all appear to be tight, and secured w/ hose clamps. still losing boost. i wonder if its related to this MBC. i opened it up all the way (0psi) so i will see what happens if the thing isnt doing anything. also as i recall the wastegate was making a good seal on the turbo.
