Tire rack, discount tire, what's the best place? Looking to get wheel/tire combo for summer.

Discount tire seems to be one of the best places I've gone too. There one of the most cost effective. Now on quality, I'm not sure on, I would look into what people buy for summer / winter tires and see if they stock them.

I like to buy used if I can. Best bang for your buck.

Be careful with used, you need all same tread depth and pattern for all wheel drive. Places like discount wont even sell you used tires for an all wheel drive car. Having said that, if you find something you want off tire rack, discount will match the price and get them.

I picked up my rims from Wheel Dude, if you want Rotas.

I have purchased my winter rims, winter rubber and summer rubber from Tire Rack online. It is always cheaper than discount tire and they seem to have the brands that I want.

If you're near Rochester, hit up Brad at Discount Tire north in Roch. He will take care of you.

i refuse to do buisness with discount tire after the run around i got last fall when i bent one of my mb weapons. Long story short the sales guy at the store told me they no longer made it. Then i looked online and when i confronted them about it he denied ever telling me that. So basicly were just trying to get me to buy a whole new set of wheels rather then one single wheel.

Check eBay for wheels. Lots of new and used with free shipping. I've seen rotas sets on there for less than wheeldude. Go to discount tire locally and get them to price match tire rack on the tires you want.

Also check on Nasioc, many of the vendors sell wheels at great prices.

Thanks a lot people. Seems like discount wins the majority. My buddy knows a dude that works at a discount tire in savage so win-win right there. The hardest part is deciding which combo to go with. I have a WR blue 2010 WRX sedan and want to go 18x8 with black finish. Should look sexy as hell in my opinion!

I'm just talking about wheels. Tires are a different story. But your right about used tires.
