Also, feel free to PM me also with locations. B
Uptown BP (Lake and Excelsior - NW side of Lake Calhoun) Lies I was there like 3 weeks ago and they had 92. I've always wanted to find a place around uptown with 93
I'm almost positive the gas is the same at all Twin Cities BP stations. At all the stations around Saint Paul, what is marked on the pumps changes a few times throughout the season between 92 and 93. My guess would be that they get audited regularly for the octane rating of the gas they are selling, and have to mark the pumps according with the minimum octane measured. I guess what I'm saying is that for any pumps marked 92, you are probably at least getting high 92.x octane gas.
Was just there last week. They just got 93 in the last month. wned: EDIT: Bullwinkle may have a valid point. Still, go ahead and post up all stations (BP or not) that have 93, or that may have had 93 in the past.
You better be right I'm gonna go try to get me some 93. Does that mean the BP on Hennepin and like 30th has 93 even though it says 92? I once asked the guy why I can only find 93 in the burbs and not in the city. He looked at me like I was stupid and didn't understand.
^ I was just in Two Harbors, MN (20 Min. north of Duluth) last week and the BP there only had 91. BP at 11th and Robert, downtown St. Paul. has 93 So you can assume most BPs in the Twin City metro area will have 93 but they charge out the nose for it. There isn't much for 93 that isn't BP.
Maybe down there in the sticks!! lol Its anywhere between 20 and 40 cents more. Wayzata is around 30.
penn and 68th in richfield...they also have this there..its not a bp but its no oxy 93 so they claim..
it sure is, my parents dont ever wanna visit they say it to far away from uptown  not that theres anything wrong with that..
BP-94E/White Bear BP-Maryland Ave. and White Bear BP-W. 7th St. and Davern Seems like a lot of BP's switched over to 93 within the last couple of months. 3 more locations but I'd be hesitant to use the one on 94e/White Bear due to a crappy 93 oct sticker slap on job and the fact that they've always had 91 before.
It was 2.69 when I filled up on Friday. Like Tom said, it is usually 20c more then regular 87 octane (the pumps usually have 87, 89, and 91/92/93). Each level is typically 10 cents more per gallon.
Lately it's been in the 2.65 or so ballpark for 93, but our market has the tendency to bounce all over the place really quickly (like 30 cents a day). Thanks a lot SA and Holiday.
Just west of Lyndale near 28th and Colfax. What do you drive? EDIT: Derr. I need to read sigs more often.
Are we sure that the White Bear and 694 is selling 93? I have been there three times in the past week and i thought that they are only selling 92. But i could be wrong. I was in the outside "express" lanes.
Well considering the 07 WRX has 12 gallon tank (or thereabouts) I figured the math wouldnt be to hard to do, I was apparently wrong.
Actually, the tank capacity is more like 16 gallons. However, even at E, I don't typically fill more then around 12 gallons.
If you filled it from bone dry, perhaps. Not likely. Just saying "I filled the tank" says nothing about how much fuel was still in the tank when you filled it. Remember, when the gas light goes on, your tank still has anywhere from 3/4 to 1 1/2 Gallons in the tank. Maybe more. Dividing the cost with the tank's stated capacity in the owner's manual doesn't work.
BP - 7468 167th St W, Rosemount, MN? - (952) 432-4944? Anyone know of any in Eau Claire or Chicago? I tried calling and searching around but no results so far
