Okay, here's a dilemna... my nephew, as well as Yosmiley's, is in town for 10 days... and i have no clue where to take him to show him around! i know it's not my duty because vic told me so late in the game, but he's still my nephew. he's in his early 20s, a navy enlisted kid, and i believe it's his first time in minnesota... believe... well, he's from mass., but i can't think of a place to take him. MOA? that's a possibility, but that place is a given. anywhere else he can go? go-kart racing? no, i'm broke. valleyfair? did i say i was broke? clubbin'? i don't think i mentioned i was broke. oh yeah, in case i haven't told you guys, i'm broke... but that's not your concern. so, where can we hang out without spending money? (doesn't that sound kinda gay?) my girlfriend is up for putting in $100, but that's all she can really afford... though she owes me more than that. anything will be helpful... just not too far away. i'm nearing E on my gas tank.
I might be able to scoop you up some Quest tickets for Thursday (asian night) if you're interested. Saves you about $10/person.
gotta love the thoughts from everyone... especially fong. i'll put lots of time into considering that one; and if i DO, please say you'll come over and play with us. it's no fun with only two people, especially when i play "no tag backs". the quest is out of the question. i'll be working on thursday, but i appreciate the offer. besides, not to hate on my fellow asian brothers, but i prefer a more diverse atmosphere... there's less tension and fights at escape. yeah, the flea markets are also a given... my girlfriends works at one of them, once in a while with her parents selling vegetables, so i'm not sure if that's the best idea. any other suggestions? oh, by the way, he says he works on EVOs in Mass. that's awesome! i'll have to let him look at my car!
show him around downtowns, of course the como zoo is free, the park at walker MPLS, oh don't forget the north side at the hood how commute the communities!!!peace
