Where to recycle cans...

    I have never done this before and I need some leads. Im in the process of collecting and recycling pop cans/ metal scraps for cash. Does anyone know where a recycling facility is located around the TC and how whats the rate? Thanks

    If I was driving i would be able to drive right to it, but I have no clue. I will ask my dad what street it is one.

    My dad and I have done this since I was little, a tip would be save as much as you can. The more your bring, the better rates you get. Also, rates change almost daily, maybe weekly, so when you find a place to go to, get the phone number and when you're ready to trade in, give them a call.

    some places give you a better rate if you crush the cans vs. not, and there is a place in buffalo that does that also

    There is one in MPLS right by the Elite Autosport (mississippi river docks)....plus you will get some more cans...cuz they are lot of bumb..i mean cans in the shooping carts!!!!heheh

    For t-bones curiousness...NO i did not jack these cans from the bum across the street that is trying to get rid of his "sonic" subaru 2.5rs and drooling over a g35...;)

    Go to the RED dot to recycle your aluminums... its 77 cents a lbs as of today. I drive by there everyday to pick up my kids from the in-law whom lives just a few blocks from there.
