[I've searched here and on NASIOC to no avail]

I'm trying to determine which MY STi scoop will fit my 2007 WRX Wagon's hood. I'm installing a VF39 and STi TMIC (off an 04) and want to installing a large scoop and the proper stock splitter/shroud to mate up with the STi TMIC.

    Thanks in advance,

    Sean

The 2006-7 STi hood scoop is the exact same as the 2006-7 WRX scoop.

To make the STi tmic fit right, you need the STi splitter and rubber seal thingy. The splitter will bolt right up to your hood with no issues.

You are also going to need a longer 90* silicone elbow as the STi one is about an inch too short. You can get them off of ebay. This is in regards to running the td04 turbo -- with the vf39, I think you can still run the STi elbow as the compresser outlet is a bit longer on that turbo.

<--- has an STi tmic on his '06 WRX wagon

Thank you WOTVs. If the STi TMIC is being mated to a VF39 do I still need the longer elbow?

I found the splitter and shroud on subarugenuineparts.

No, I think you will be ok with the stock STi elbow. You might want to doublecheck with somebody else on here as I think there are a few vf39/sti tmic '06-7 WRXs on here.

You can also get the splitter and rubber seal thingy from Morries with the MNSubaru discount for about the same price minus the shipping charges, fyi.

No you don't need a longer elbow if its the Sti elbow. It works just fine. I have a vf39 sti Tmic combo.
