Have you driven a stock STi? If not, give it a try and see if you like it. The prokit may be faster on a track at the limit but a stock setup is extreeeeeemly stiff and feels very responsive. So if your not the Stig stock would be more to your arses liking.

is it an 04 sti? i think i remember bikerboy saying that the v8 spec c's are what come on the 04's..not the 05's. if so, i'm sure you will be happy with them.

No, not spec c. Just V8 STi. You will have to look at the strut and the build date of the car. The first alication STi's came with the black springs and pink struts. Later alocations came with black springs and black struts.

if you stay with the stock STi suspension, you could sell me the eibachs!

Just so you know the eibach and the STi springs are +- 5lbs of resistance from one another. Both are about as stiff.
