    selling this car to pay for College. Bought it only a recent time ago thinking i would bring it up to school but havent needed it. had some work done to it when i bought it and he has been at home while i have been at school.

    Timing Belt changed every 50,000
    White
    Cloth interior
    5 Speed
    Aftermarket radio and speakers
    Tires are in good shape at least 80% left
    Little rush around door jams and license plate

    FLEX COUPLING
    $1,484.00 Repair Total

    things car could use:
    Shocks are going out in rear
    control arm bushing needs replacing soon or later, don't remember which one will check with shop
    timing belt around 200,000 is recommended.

    It looks very nice, and I would love to own it..... but I have to ask, is an 89 bmw with 200K really worth 4k? Again, I've done zero research, but it just seems quite high.

    No your looking more around 400-500. I was quoted 350 for the timing belt, so add tensioner and pump I bet it'll be about 450-500. Price is negotiable.
