yeah they want you to buy a new car. could be a good deal, but if you put alot of miles on your car you prolly wont get much from the deal.

That gets sent out from the dealers because Subaru will give an incentive to the dealer to sell new/used Subys. Usually called "Guaranteed Buy Back".

That's the "Subaru Guaranteed Trade-In Program" - which is in effect until Oct. 31st - you can put your VIN in here and see if it comes up with anything. http://www.subaru.com/misc/gtp/2007/index.jsp

The White Bear thing is standard dealer marketing to drive more traffic, though they may be piggybacking on the GTP.

Basically we need some used Subaru's here at our lot. We have 6 used Subaru's out of our 103 used cars. Thats not alot. So we do need trade ins. We also need to sell new cars.

I've got an '02 Forester with 69,000 miles on it... Think I could swap it straight up for an '08 Impreza wagon?

oh...I kno your were in sales, u told me that before :p...
I still do my best to assist anyone that needs help, but at the same time the pressure to sell is there from management anywhere u go. THe more I sell the less $$$ I make nowadays...that doesn't make sense. Plus I'm not in the business to start changing into a person I do not want to be, as u stated. That's y I'm looking elsewhere after 5+ years with WBS.

Another Subaru Dealership isn't gonna be better that's for sure...
Erik...You'll always be my parts guy ;) next to brian
