This thread confuses me. As long as the person you're dating is fine with it, You can date anyone that has a different mother and father than you do.. Oh, and different grandparents as well, unless you're in Kentucky. :-p This chick isn't really John's sister.. lol (as in they have different birth parents) In many Christian religions, members call each other "sister" and "brother", indicating that they're all spiritual brothers and sisters (i.e. all children of God). This is unrelated to sister and brothers because of same birth parents. In other words, Christians can date and marry other Christians. (Many sects of Christianity prefer you NOT marry outside of the religion) So yes.. I am not Christian and got married in a Congregational church which is a church that accepts all denominations, however does read from the Bible. My wife says she is Christian with a lower case "c" meaning she's not a devout Christian who only belives in Jesus and that stuff but also takes teachings from Budhism and other religions and belief systems.
