Im just curious. Seems alot of people on mnsrt4 do over there and was just wondering who all here has a quick suby and races it on the street/track...

 

MN subaru does not condone (sp) street racing. But i do even though i have a slow car. my biggest win was a stock mustang GT, its amazing what AWD will do when its wet.

 

yeah there was already people who tried to talk about it and it didnt work. this thread will be locked in no time probly.

i street race all the time, but i don't waste my time and energy on civics

i went with the srt4 crew last fall and watched some frum rolls, pretty fun time..

 

Everyone races from light to light. My biggest kill was an EVO VIII. But, it was raining so he says I get the win with an * (asteric)

 

only cool people street race(sarcasim)..... hahaha

 

lol skreet racing vs. frum wheel drive cars? i think not.

lol, my most impressive feat was keeping even with klesk on the highway. that little 1.8l FWD impreza is quick on teh highway.

2 from rolling
1 from the dig

true srts keep going in high speeds while we kinda slow down

so somewhere near 80, nothing wrong with that, its a street race, not a top speed battle...how fun is it to race from a roll to 100+ mph? not very, and thats how people get hurt, a 0-60 battle never hurt anyone, accept many non subie owners feelings :lol:

 

no way in heck could a stock wrx take a stock srt from a roll unless there was somthing wrong with the srt or the driver.

 

Ha I beat srt-4 must have been brand new, with a temp sticker in the window, I saw him comming, he got upside up me and hit it, I watched, and as he was drifting back to pimp me again I hit it, lmao, I pulled on him, hard, pretty darn funny, he had no chance, he was off the gas decelerating, I then promptly exited on my exit and laughed the rest of the way home. Still makes me laugh.

Not that I'd ever consider that a real kill, it was just funny, I doubt I hit much more than 80-85 in a 70 before I had to exit.

humm....there was a Ford probe the other night when I was on the highway going to a friends house. He came next to me and downshifted and zooomed ahead. There was 4 of us in my car, and one of him. so he cuts in front of me, then I move over to the right lane. I creep up to him.....then go into 4th gear, then as I come closer, I drop it into 3rd at about 62mph, then with my window slightly opened, I come almost next to him then I hear him floor it. That's when I wait a sec, then I push it. Pretty neat to see a wagon pass a Probe with 4 peeps in it on a roll.

But hey, he wanted some.....wasted my gas damit!

I can't wait for a track to be built so I can have fun. Road America is a bit too big. I've love to go to Leguna Seca.

 

i dont know what kind of civics u be racing. dont get mad nit my wrx owned 3 times...haha =P wait til u see my civic.

 

it has now been proven that the wing does not add HP. i pulled on him and he had his giant wing and was alone in the car (last time he had 3 more ppl in it).

 

word to the wise,
if you get a pink turbo civic pulling up on you, smile and decline.
you will get pwned.

I dreamt that I pulled on a yellow SRT-4 last night in 4th gear. I kept looking over at him and he notices, so he gets to the next lane and stepped on it. As he begins to pass me, I floor it. I reeled him in nice and slowly. He looked stock, so maybe I had the advantage this time.

 

today i got beat by a srt-4 that was an ego crusher but he wanted to start from 60 and i wanted to drop down to say 30... oh well all i have is an up pipe

 

Your going to need alot more than an UP to pull on a stock SRT on the highway.

wanted to start from 60? wtf.....what kind of a race is that? how about he gets to race you from 60, but you get to race him from 0 afterwords
