Well you saw the title, lets get a show of people to see who is going where Tim ps this thread can be deleated after saterday!
Get it straight, beer and RedballZ don't mixed ....lesbo hehehe He can't handle the jeag and Redbulls, he'll ended up huging the toilet seat!!!!
Neighter, It's about time I get a little break from work... so I'm heading out of town to visit friends in sideway places
Evan, tbone and Erik (AWDL) are already here and Alex (my neighbor 'subaru4') has popped the window cherry already. So if anyone wanted the rear window, um, well its gone now.
We are finished. There is still some sh!t up for grabs, but it will be gone by Tuesday. The block is out already. There is beer, and it will still be here tomorrow night. I might just say 'F0ck it, party after Firestone tomorrow.' Not sure though since we got the usual MNSubaru gathering.
Well that was fun, We got teh engine out and destroyed the car in less then 5 hrs, so I think we did really well. Just wait till you see teh movies, woot woot! Oh and thanks to all the people that came, I had a great time. More people came that were not on the list then people that were on the list.
No, some of you still need to come pick up the parts you signed up for. The car will be gone Tuesday morning if not on Monday. I will be at the dyno day tomorrow but I plan on being back here to enjoy my beer at NOON tomorrow. So from noon till whenever everyone leaves, or the beer is gone.
The shell of the car is still here for anyone wishing to scavenge. I will more than likely be working on tearing down the block today...if I feel like it. I am going to be at the dyno day this morning, arriving at my house between 1200 and 100pm.
i had a good time, and i got everything i needed, as for the rest of you who didnt show up, you should ge ashamed of yourself, if you say your gonna be somewhere, BE THERE! thanks again jason, and thanks for pawning off your neighbor on me for a ride! j/k he was a nice guy
sounds like you guys had a hell of a time, sorry i could come i had other plans last night but i had a good time too. but i never actually said i was going, jason asked me and i said maybe and then all the sudden i was on the list
hehehe, Erik you quickly yelling at me to come on aim isnt quite enough to motivate me. i wish i would have been there, but i had other plans. (thats why i said i prolly coulndt coem on friday) anyway i will be there around 1-ish to check it out
that was fun. we took it down to the short block. it took awhile to get the heads off since we were limted to 1 14mm wrench for most of the time. hey jason right after i left i got NAILED by that storm. that first section of contruction where cr22 merges into 494 was... yikes. i had to stop at normandale to get air in my front tire (it was low and was not aiding my stability) after trhat it was way better. although gettign hailed/rained on while filling a tire ws not fun, it was worth it after that it was 30ft visibilty tops, with everyover pass filled with cars under it. i plowed right on through that mess. it felt almost as if i was driving through 1-2" of mudd the whole way. was all good tell i got to the heavy construction part where it narrows. there i encountered heavy hail (made me want to pull off, but no overpasses here) waves of water were flying over the median at me from oncoming, and the lightning was blinding. by far the most interesting drive i have had.
Yeah man, thanks for showing up and helping out. I don't think I would have been this far along if I didn't have your hands and knowledge. That sucks about the weather. Also, I would like to extend my gratitude to the MNSubaru.com Hand-Raisers Club! Thanks guys for rogering up then backing out. I can't wait to drink 6 gallons of beer in a week so as not to look like a jackass when I return a half full keg. This will be the last event that I host as I can't count on anyone to show up...Matt, I am sure you are giggling up a storm with a handfull of "I told you so's" to toss my way. I deserve it.
Also much thanks to AWDImprezaL (Erik) for busting your azz Friday night. I didn't expect to have the engine pulled, but you killed it. Tbone for his help...wasn't there that long, but watching the bumper get peeled like a banana set the entire tone for the day. Evan for being the first to arrive and for comic relief Phil (New Legacy guy from C.G.) thanks for the weed and the help cleaning up. To the 2005RS guy and his buddy that helped contribute to the further decline of my lungs by spray painting every visible surface of the wagon...twice. To Alex and Gerry my neighbors for the extra help, and for the entertainment of watching a set of heads get destroyed for the precious aluminum they contain. To Steve-o and Russ for driving through with the Kaaz gearset car. Great sounds. To my brother in law for the the engine teardown and for stopping by and hanging out...it is like 2 hours to his house. Awesome Pete showed up and helped reduce the beer level a little As did Erik (Dream) And to anyone else that I forgot. Thanks again for stopping by and helping out.
yah it sucked that not all of them showed up, they always do tend to wuss out at the last minute.....
Yep, the boost solenoid is still here. I can pull it if you want and just bring it to you at Firestone some time.
****, I just saw the wrecker drive off with the thing and remembered that I needed the solenoid. Sorry bro, it's gone.
