Does anyone know or recognize a car emblem that is: a yellow shield with the Capital letter "I" in the middle? The left side of the "I" is black and the right side is Chrome/Silver. Visiting in Arizona last month I saw a sporty car on the highway driving too quick to see what the car was. The only identifiable markings was this emblem. I have described it to the best of my recollection. It was NOT the Ferrari, yellow shield with the standing stallion. Just recently I noticed school buses near my house (Brooklyn Center, MN) with what looks like the same symbol as the car I saw. I honestly thought the car had the letter "T" in the shield but on close look at these buses, I am sure they are the same. I can't even tell who makes the buses that carry this same symbol. I've been searching the net for "yellow shield" car, emblem, logo, badge. Nothing comes up yet. Maybe it's NOT a yellow shield, but it sure looks like one. I'm still trying to rack my brain on what kind of car I saw on the highway back in AZ. For all I know it was a debadged familiar make that someone threw a BUS logo on it. Any ideas? Thanks Ryan
Hey, you know what? I bet it was. That DOES look like it. So I was probably right the first time. It was a T. Ok, so the school buses do have a yellow shield with an "I" in it that I can't find what the symbol means. Much less, I don't really care about that anymore, because I think you've answered my question. Looks like I had all the colors there, just in the wrong place. Thanks, now I can try and find pics and see just what it was that drove by. It's nice to have that stupid nagging question in the back of your mind finally answered.
Honestly I thought it was a Tiburon when I first saw it. That and a few other models went through my head as it drove away. I also thought maybe Crossfire or more like a BMW Z3 or Z4. Really though I am trying to remember a car that drove by fairly quick from over a month ago. If that's the only vehicle around here with that symbol, well I think I can close the case of what I saw. Thanks for your help.
