I would like to get this done before spring. My coilovers (ksport) have been making loud banging noises over larger cracks in the road - pot-holes, man hole covers, etc. - and they've been a little bouncy. I'd like to take them in to get rebuilt, but don't know who does it. Would I be ok letting a motorcycle/atv service work on them? Or is there anyone who deals specifically with car struts/shocks?

which ksports do you have? how long have you had them? I just put the inverted gravel spec gr's in my car and the rears clunk occassionally. they are also kinda bouncy on the freeway but dispatch potholes, ice mounds, and train tracks like no other

I think they're kontrol pro's - the lower end one - not the gt pros. They have around 15k miles. Rear's are worse than the fronts. So i figure rebuild the rear first and see what happens.

Looks like I'll be getting new shocks from ksport. They are not under warranty so it's going to be $100/shock. Otherwise, it was $100/shock for a rebuild by them. Hopefully this solves my problem. If not, they'll be fixed and I'll have to go with a sport spring/strut combo, but i'll miss camber plates.
