I have been thinking about getting some driving shoes but want to see and try some on. My shoes suck bad. I have found no one that caries them. Anyone know of a store that does locally? Piloti, Puma, ????? who ever else? Any suggestions on brand and/or model?

I just bought myself a set of Puma Future Cats for Xmas. They were really easy to find. There's a very well stocked Puma store on the ground floor of the Mega Mall.

Thanks everyone. I guess I was looking for the wrong brands and store types. Looks like Adidas and Puma are the best bet to find locally.

I called them and they dont have them in brown in my size. I might just have to go with a different color.

Brown *and* the right size ? You're just being picky now ;)

Actually, you might want to make a trip, and see what fits best. I normally take a size 10ish (10-11 depending on the type of shoe) but wound up with size 12s in the Future Cats. And Pumas come in half sizes, too.

Here's a question - The Puma website makes many references to "new last construction" in the descriptions of their shoes. Does anyone know what this actually means ?

    Stuart.

I noticed the Future Cats were very tight. That is why I only bought Speed Cat, was going to get one of each.

Just bought a pair of Speed Cats myself. Very nice shoes and way better than the Timberland boots that I've been driving in :)

My 6 cylinder makes 1250 lb/ft of torque.
I've always been a big fan of Chuck Taylors (Converse All Stars) for driving shoes, you could give them a shot. I usually go to Zappos.com for shoes, they've got great pricing, good service and you can find any color you want. Either that or check out Converse.com and you can make your own pair.
