i need to ship a bumper to Illinois and after looking at DHL, UPS, and Fedex the cheapest rate i can find is 130. are there any special couriers that anyone knows of who can ship a large package for less?
How large? I think I used Forward Air or something like that to ship a shifter kart and the whole thing was on two pallets that were nailed together and boxed. It cost me 110.00 at the time.
well its a bumper.. i think the box is about 68"x20"x20". thanks for the tip ill check there website.
yeah, checked there website and i cant find anything that mentions pricing. it also looks like they wont deliver to a residential location.
Speedee. Stop in at Lexus Of Wayzata while I'm working with it all packaged nicely and I'll get you a quote. Its usually about half what UPS does. Especially with oversized stuff. IF its in the delivery area. http://www.speedeedelivery.com/
I've shipped about 4 bumpers to east/west coast, Fed-Ex is the cheapest for drop-off to residential delivery for a person without a business account. otherwise greyhound is good if they'll work with you.
wow i fail, they go to ill but not the UP??? fail!!!!!!!!!! however they do rock for getting stuff around cheap and fast
They've only lost one package in a whole year of us doing business. And it was a tiny little thing of touch up paint. 4 bucks, no big deal.
