That is freaking rediculous. What is even more insane is that after shelling out $320932420934325987432 for those things, you still need to order a ton of crap from the dealer to install them.

Well last time I checked several weeks ago, Brushur was looking into a better alternative for us WRX guys after he blew his 3rd gear.

    *fingers crossed*

good luck...If he says to use RA Gear sets, I would wish him the best...if he thinks it is going to hold the TQ from what he claims his WRX has...tzz tzz

Holy FUBAR'd 3rd gear, batman. Well, that thread certainly bangs you in the face with the positives and the negatives of the '06+ wrx.

no its buschur being retarded about the fact that dyno pulls put a ton of stress on trannies. This car's only miles were run on a dyno or on a drag strip, or on the street getting beat on.

He routinely reinvents the wheel and doesn't listen to anything that any subaru tuners tell him, he looks like he's now taking his ball and going home. oh well, life goes on.

They still burn up clutches, even with a TC and VB. Its slow, but unavoidable. The hope is in larger clutches, the ones in it when the 4EAT is used in a 300ZX or some trucks.
