we had a trade-in, but it was a acura TSX 2004 with 157k on it...If it wasn't for the miles the car was in excellent resale condition.

my blue wagon (now lifted) had 220k on it when I bought it. I've put about 10k on it since then

    my loyale has about 180k

the legacy that donated the motor for my loyale had 240k on it (awesome car, in all reality, a waste of a perfectly good car, but awesome engine donor!!). That car would've hit 300k easily if I hadn't parted it out. and I have no reason to beleive I can't get another 100k out of the motor, even with a little abuse (until I start boooosting anyway)

my dad's '83 he used to have had 280k on it when he junked it.

the 'poopenvagon' had 180k on the Odo, but hadn't had a speedo cable in it for about 5 years. I suspect it had well over 200k

my dads 95 wagon has 225K on it. still going strong with the original plugs, and most other oem parts.

my brat has 235K on it.

our past family subarus have all been over 200k, some closer to 300k. they all seemed to end by gettign back into by stupid people and getting totaled.

    2000 RS => 78k ....How does that compare? ;)

Being that the last ~10k has been as a weekend racer....that should be the equivalent of about 200k, right? :p

I am glad you drive that thing. Too many people i know wont drive their cars on the weekends because they put too many miles on during their work commute.

My first Subaru was a 1980 Hatchback. I traded a car radio for it.

It had 498K+ miles on it when I entered it into the Compact Car Demolition Derby at the Anoka County Fair. It placed 6th out of 21.

I had a 1999 Legacy GT that we trade in with 245K on it 2 years ago. It still ran great, but we wanted an 05 wagon.

You all make my '96 with 173K on it look like a low mileage vehicle. It doesn't have many original parts left though, so the way I replace things- it should last forever.

'80...that would be an EA71, right? 1.6l? that's what my dad's old '83 had. wow, what a great motor (for reliability, that is.

Wow! I wasn't expecting that high of miliage. I'm glad to be in the Subaru family.

So who has the highest miliage on an all original car?

My father has a 98 Camery with 298K and the only repair was 30K ago, the front and rear turn signal bulbs burnt out.

I believe there is a 400k+ club on some suby linked sites. Saw some mid 80's suby with 600k actual miles. Original motor.

I hope my car last at least +250K miles. So far only 14K. My old 93 prism had 190K before I got rid of it. It was still running good.

yep, the EA-series cars were darn near bullit proof. especially the EA81 OHC ones!! no guts, but they'd go forever as long as you keep them cool

never did figure out exactly why my motor died @ 230k....but I know it wasn't cared for too carefully...that's why it cost me $150

and yes, there's a high-mileage club. I keep forgetting to join:
