But for that price I can get like...9 sets of Rotas and those are almost as light! /sarcasm I saw those go up for sale a few weeks ago. Beautiful wheels, hopefully at that price they go to a decent home and not some stancetard with more money than brains.
If these are the old style with magnesium centers, have fun with your cracks. Also have fun paying a few grand to have the cf refinished properly. For the price I'd get forged monoblock wheels.
Not worth 9k. Maybe as a novelty. Regardless I'd be interested in owning them if I had a use for them currently. Which I dont.
Those would be a good candidate for @pillboy's request for carnage in Shorty's "heartbreak" thread - can you imagine what it would feel (and look) like to curb one of those puppies?
I think I'd take some RPF1's at that price. I can't see how someone would justify these unless they weighed <10lbs. Kevlar - 18x8.5" - 16.6lbs - $9,000 RPF1 - 17x9.0" - 15.8lbs - $1,100 RPF1 - 18x9.5" - 17.4lbs - $1,596 http://www.dezod.com/pd-enkei-rpf11.cfm http://www.dezod.com/pd-dezod-motorsports-custom.cfm
They are the magnesium ones. They would be good fun on 4th of July if you could get them to light. The barrels look like they are Kevlar composite, not normal carbon fiber. Why do they need to be refinished? UV damage?
I f I balled that hard doubtful Id be driving a subaru.... just saying oh wait I dont anyways anymore
Ha - yeah they are cool, and "special" in the sense that the car was pretty internet famous. My whole project is getting built for about the same dang price as these wheels
