Looks good so far, that red needs a second coat though. Did you put down primer first for the Red? I had to lay down a dark grey undercoat under the red in my front entry way to even it out.

I think you've done a great job on the drywalling. I hate taping/mudding/jointing/sanding, but drywall always takes the project to a level most people can "visualize" the end product. When I was contracting we always hired that out, so PROPS to doing it yourself, takes real dedication to wear the mask and just deal with it!

What framing did you have to do?

Did you run your own plumbing and electrical?

Projects like this are always so great. You have so much more pride in your work, and no one knows the hardships you went through to get it to look like it does.

Also, under that tub ledge, PLEASE tell me you used cement board, or whatever the brand name was on it. I would also seriously consider getting 1'x1' pieces of a matching tile to do the area from your tub "lip" tiles to the floor vs paint.

Are you doing vinyl or tile in the bathroom? You could just over order your foot by foot tiles for the flooring and wrap them up.

Are you running a lifted tile edge or baseboard in the bathroom?

Sorry, lots of questions, I just miss doing this kind of stuff and am wondering what your plans are!

i am actually thinking about leaving the red the way it is, kinda gives it a little more diff look, kinda makes it unique, looks alot diff in person, i did prime it all but the primer was white.

i just might have hired someone to do the taping/mudding and knock down :biggrin: didn't want to tackle that one

both the bathroom and tub room will be tiled, also around the tub on the top frame part will all be tile and about a 15in, backsplash around the two sides tiled

as far as the framing my dad and i did all that, divide all the rooms out, frame in around ductwork, etc. and we did all the plumbing and wiring too(still need to wire in a couple fans and lights, just have to hook up at the switches) frame in a couple more doors and get everything primed, which blows because i am priming the ceiling too.
