To all owners of 2011+ WRX. Is the window trim on the doors of your car black with no chrome inlay from the factory? I'm talking about the trim which sits on top of the sheet metal of the door (bottom of window glass). The reason I ask is because I parked beside a newer WRX yesterday and the trim was all black and seemed to be OE. Just curious, tha ms in advance!

I think the sedan has chrome, the 5-door is black for whatever reason.

Interesting.. Wonder if the wagon trim would fit on a 2010 sedan.

$8 and you can PlastiDip your chrome. Very easy to do. You can always watch YouTube videos to see how easy it is. DipYourCar.com is a good channel to check out.

I've done this. I'm not fond of the result I'm getting and it's beginning to lift around the edges. It worked great for my rear trunk trim and emblem trim, don't get me wrong. There is a vinyl chrome delete kit I can buy but some of my trim is damaged and needs replace meant so I was hoping the trim from the newer models would fit or be retrofitted for a OEM look.
