Does anyone else on here get sore spots on the inside of their nose?

I do, it feels like a plasma type dried scab material, and it scabs up and hurts real bad. I'm not a nose picker either, nor do I do coke or "huff". This happens every winter and I hate it. It hurts when I wash my face, when I kiss my wife, or anything else associated with touching my nose.

Could petrolium jelly help? neo sporin? Is it safe to put that stuff in my nose?

How far in your nose? I've gotten cracks near the edge of the nostril that utterly kill. A little dab of basitracin ointment (neosporin) helped that clear up. Otherwise I like bag balm.

yeah, it's like right at the rim, but on the inside, right where the cartilage ends.

I get those as well and about 1/10 of the time that I blow my nose it starts bleeding too. And my fingers crack. If it wasn't so much fun to drive on snow and ice winter would suck!

I will take the desert-dry of a MN winter over the humidity of a TX summer (which lasts as long as winter does up there). There are days where you leave for work in the morning and trip over the humidity.

Sounds painful, I'd try some kinda moisturizer, or even hit up Walgreen's pharmacy and ask the pharmacist what they recommend using.
